Jaane tu ya jaane naa.....

I had to think twice before writing this post. I guess it is the second time in my life I had reached late to watch the movie. First time it was for vettaiyadu vilaiyadu, I could make only when the song ‘karka karka…’ was about to end. My stupid sister made me wait in our school gates to finish practical exam to join me for the movie. Second was for the last week when I planned to go to jaane tu... I could only make it for the movie last weekend that too late, all because of my best buddy and my stupid editor.

I always feel good only when I watch a movie from the start frame to the end frame. I sit for the rolling credits too. These people also play a major part of the movie. May be I feel the same because my name came twice in the rolling credits. It was the happiest moments in my life. Me and my best friends’ neelan and nithya jumped in joy in theater seeing our names roll on the big screen. Special thanks to Sabu sir and Arun sir, my gurus in editing. Here I should really thank Navin, my uncle who found a spark in me.

I think I better stop uttering non sense and talk about the movie. Truly speaking I don’t deserve to write about the movie as I went in late. Still this movie is close to my heart. Why is a secret…. J so I feel I should really write about the movie.

It’s a feel good movie, a romantic comedy. The movie depicts the life style, love and friendship of this generation. Friendship between parents and children is also neatly portrayed in the movie.

Imran and genelia have done well. Two best friends, loving each other unknowingly finds their true feel only when someone else takes their position in lives. How they realize and express their love is the story. Other characters are tied neatly along the two main characters. Imran is brought up by his mom like any other kid after his late father. This character talks to his wife from his portrait and they keep fighting for everything happening in their day to day life.

Genelia’s brother Amit is an artist is too possessive about his sister and he understands her love towards Imran. He plays with his pet rat and paint all day. He hates Imran as he feels that he took away his sister from him who was his best friend all these years.

They do have a gang of friends, u get confused whose pair is who as they mix and dance on the stage often. The story is actually a narration of these friends to a girl, who claims to be girl friend of one of them in the group at the end of the movie. I am not sure who she is as I missed the first part. The narration reminds me of the tamil movie Azagiya theeyae.

Movie was natural till the climax. Climax you find really stupid. In the flow of the movie you really don’t feel bad as you obviously know that would never happen. You simply laugh about it and forget it. The story has a branded commercial movie climax. The hero and heroine join together at the edge of flight or train departure in an airport or railway station. You obviously know that they will bond and live happily ever after.

In plain I shall say an ideal entertainer movie. Though the movie has lot of fantasy, you laugh out and enjoy.
