A family drama starring Dhanush, Nayanthara, Karthick, Karunas and many more. The director Jawahar has tried his best to entertain the audience but forgot a bit to concentrate on the logical part of the movie(second half). Dhanush has tried slapstick comedy in the movie in which you can typically feel his father in law’s touch, especially in the snake scene and while delivering few punch dialogues. As many of you might have known, the movie is a remake of Selvaraghavan’s telgu movie Aaduvari matalakku artharae megurae.
Talking about the 1st half the movie is neat and crisp. Dhanush an unemployed goes in search job and fails because of his poor qualifications. Karthick and Karunas are friends of Dhanush. Raguvaran, as done his best as a typical middle class father. Dhanush falls in love with Nayanthara and somehow manages to get a job in the software company she is working with .He is madly in love with her, but Nayan turns him off saying that she is already engaged and she is getting married next month. Seeing Dhanush’s disappointment father raguvaran talks to Nayan and gets snubbed by her and he dies of heart attack.
You would simply feel bad for missing such a great actor when funeral of raguvaran is made in the movie. You are moved in tears as the actor died recently in cardiac arrest.
Dhanush is totally off the track after his father’s death. Karthick, takes Dhanush to his marriage in his home town for a change. Nayan is the fiancé of Karthick.
Dhanush slowly becomes the part of the Karthick and Nayan’s traditional Brahmin family. Nayan realizes her love for Dhanush and proposes him the day before the marriage. The climax goes like whether Dhanush and the family accept her love.
A young girl playing the role of Nayan sister has done a great job in the movie. I am sorry I don’t know her name. You would simply love her and her character. She is very cute and acted so well. I don’t want to break the suspense as you would go mad seeing her on the screen.
Karthick comes in and out of the script as and when he likes. There is no proper flow in the character. In the scene in which he requests Dhanush to sing about his fiancé is absurd. He lierally says, sing abt my wife…. Look how beautiful she is…… You can hear people shouting at the theater. There is no logic in this scene. In the same song Nayan hugs Dhanush by mistake due to sudden thunder. Karthick and the so called traditional family remains silent and Kathick simply smiles at them hugging and walks away. In get totally bugged in few scenes like this….
First half of the movie is good but the directed failed to continue it in the second half too apart from few scenes. You can say what the next scene will be easily. Yaaradi nee mohini a pure mixture of DDLJ, Jab we met….

Yeah somaa Ur review is analysed the movie correctly . The real mohini is "Karthick's sister". Too cute and good performance. I dont know how many are going to imitate super star (vijay,simbu now thanush also in the list).
Nayan has exhibited acting this time . her performance is really good especialy when she has quarrel with Raguvaran. Its really pathetic to see funeral of raghuvaran. He is a born actor. We had missed him. What terrific expressions he shows when he was slapped by nayan. Very difficult scene to handle. He had done just like that.. Thats Raguvaran.. Great Salute to Great Actor.
The only nice thing about this movie is its the first "U" cetificate film comes selvaraghvan team.
